WHY WE LOVE SUNDAY MORNINGS AT CAKE APPRECIATION SOCIETY

Posted in Uncategorized on October 16th, 2011 by Adrianne

Why do we love Sunday mornings so much at Cake Appreciation Society?  Is it because we can sleep in?  Is it because there’s no rush to pack school bags? Is it because we don’t have to fight the traffic on the way to work? Well the answer is yes, but no to all of these!

We love Sunday mornings because that’s when all the cakes that have had their ‘moment’ in the spotlight are revealed on the Facebook pages and we get to share what our  Cake Appreciation Society Members have been busy creating during the week in preparation for weddings, birthdays, and engagement parties, just to mention a few excuses to eat more cake!

To quote Buddy of Cake Boss, when it comes to wedding cakes “It’s not just a cake – it’s a moment!”  We believe it actually lasts more than just a moment. The memories created by the wedding cake cutting ceremony last a lifetime to be relived in photos and videos, shared with loved ones.

Here at Cake Appreciation Society we get to share those ‘moments’ with cake lovers everywhere so that’s why we get pretty excited on a Sunday morning when we can reveal the cakes that shone in the spotlight the night before. Of course not all celebrations take place on a Saturday night, so we share pics of our Member’s latest creations and you can see them in our CAKE APPRECIATION SOCIETY MEMBERS SHOWCASE album or our many themed albums at www.facebook.com/cakeappreciationsociety.com 24/7/365. We do encourage you to visit often, because there’s always something new being added to inspire you, whether you’re looking where to buy a cake or bake for any occasion and share with your friends.

Cake Appreciation Society has so many wonderful, talented Members  creating ‘moments’ that it’s difficult to select just one, so we had to put their names in a cake mixing bowl and start with one!  Today we’d like to introduce you to DELIBERATELY DELICIOUS, located in Brisbane, Queensland.

JUST ANOTHER DAY AT WORK FOR THE DELIBERATELY DELICIOUS TEAM!

Deliberately Delicious is an elegant cake boutique, located on bustling Caxton Street in Brisbane where  you can view a large range of amazing cakes on display. The team at Deliberately Delicious understand that every bride’s dream cake is as unique as she is, and they can delight your guests with a superbly designed and crafted piece of edible art, that is guaranteed to have your taste buds tingling. Their wedding cakes range from classic and traditional to modern and novelty style custom cakes.

Amanda is the owner of Deliberately Deilcious and has  been designing and creating cakes for 20 years. Also on the team is Hayely Egan, better known  as” Pippy la Frosting”,  an amazing artist who you’ll find in store designing incredible works of art when she isn’t designing sculptures on movie sets. Mary Drew, known as “Mary Drewberrylicious” had her own cake decorating business in Tassie before moving to Brissy. And also there’s  ”Lovely Luscious Leanne” who owns Flowers De Lush and creates the fresh flower masterpieces to decorate the cakes.

Check out a variety of cake pics shared by  Deliberately Delicious in our various albums including WEDDING CAKEFINDER, DOLL CAKES, FOOD GLORIOUS CAKE and BABY CELEBRATION.
